Y Ddirprwy Weinidog Sgiliau a Thechnoleg (Julie James):  £89.5 million of European Regional Development Fund funding has been allocated for the length of the programme as a whole and is not split by financial year.

Julie James: The Welsh Government is committed to match fund 43.8% (or £62,374,090) of the Convergence allocation with the remaining £80,000,000 (56.2%) supplied in European Regional Development Fund funding to bring it to a to a total of £142,374,090. The Welsh Government is committed to match fund 60.5% (or £14,550,633) of the Competitiveness allocation with the remaining £9,500,000 (39.5%) supplied by European Regional Development Fund funding to bring it to a total of £24,050,633.

Y Ddirprwy Weinidog Sgiliau a Thechnoleg (Julie James): The future funding allocated to the Superfast Cymru programme to the completion in June 2016 represents the difference between monies paid to date and the final maximum capped value of the grant – this being £205 million.

Y Gweinidog Iechyd a Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol (Mark Drakeford): TEVA pharmaceuticals are a principal manufacturer and supplier of medicines to the NHS. An analysis of branded medicines supplied within the primary care setting is held by NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership and is published on the Welsh Government Statistics and Research web-site as prescribing, cost and analysis (PCA) data. 

A link to the primary care data can be found at: http://gov.wales/statistics-and-research/prescriptions-dispensed-community/?lang=en. Please consider all explanatory notes and background included on this page when interpreting the data. The generic medicines manufactured by TEVA and prescribed within primary care cannot be identified from available data sources.

Hospital prescribing data is held by NHS Wales Informatics Services. Data for medicines prescribed in this sector is currently under development and recorded by the generic name of the medicine only. This data is not currently published as official statistics. Mechanisms to calculate information on branded products prescribing in secondary care is in development.

Mark Drakeford: NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Procurement Services provide purchasing functions on behalf of all local health boards and NHS trusts in Wales. NWSSP are refreshing their policy, and a new draft is expected to be finalised and issued for the 2015/16 financial year.
