Remploy The National Assembly for Wales expresses deep concern at proposals by Remploy to close 7 of its Welsh factories; agrees with the Trade Unions that there is a continued need for supported employment and that mainstream employment is not suitable for everyone; notes that Remploy workers have often made the conscious decision to work rather than spend a lifetime on benefits; calls on the WAG to  work with the DTI to ensure that there are no closures or job losses.’
