Ymgyrch "Paint it Pink” Genesis

Mae’r Cynulliad Cenedlaethol yn cefnogi Ymgyrch "Paint it Pink” Apêl Genesis drwy gydol mis Hydref sy’n annog pobl i beintio un ewin bys yn binc i nodi bod un fenyw o bob deg yn datblygu canser y fron ryw adeg yn ystod eu bywyd yng Nghymru; yn croesawu’r ymgyrch i godi ymwybyddiaeth o’r angen i fenywod a dynion archwilio eu bronnau eu hunain yn rheolaidd; yn cydnabod ymroddiad elusennau megis Apêl Genesis i ymdrechu i greu dyfodol heb ganser y fron; ac yn annog pobl i ofyn am gyngor gan eu fferyllydd lleol neu weithiwr gofal iechyd proffesiynol arall ynghylch hunanarchwiliadau.

Genesis "Paint it Pink” Campaign

The National Assembly supports the Genesis Appeal’s "Paint it Pink” Campaign throughout October which encourages people to paint one fingernail pink to signify the one in ten women who will develop breast cancer at some point in their lives in Wales; welcomes the campaign for raising awareness of the need for both women and men to perform regular breast self-exams; acknowledges the dedication of charities such as the Genesis Appeal in striving to create a future without breast cancer; and encourages people to seek advice from their local pharmacist or other healthcare professional on self-examination.
