The statutory requirements of Part P(Electrical safety) of the Building Regulations cover electrical installations in dwellings. The requirements of Part P were introduced on 1st January 2005, and accompanied by awareness raising events at that time. Approved Document P provides guidance on how to comply with the requirements of Part P and is available to download from the Welsh Government Website via the following web link: http://gov.wales/topics/planning/buildingregs/publications/part-p-electrical/?lang=en

The Building Regulations require that notifiable electrical installations are undertaken by persons approved by a competent persons scheme or alternatively inspected by Building Control bodies (local authority or private approved inspectors).

Derbyniwyd ateb ar 24 Tachwedd 2015

Gweinidog Addysg a Sgiliau (Huw Lewis):

During the 2012-13 financial year, the Free Breakfast in Primary Schools (FBIPS) scheme was grant-funded.  Local authorities claimed £12,030,629.17 in grant funding for this period.  In the 2013/14 financial year the funding mechanism for the Free Breakfast in Primary Schools (FBIPS) scheme changed from direct grant funding to administration via the Revenue Support Grant (RSG).  The Welsh Government made available £14.7m in funding to local authorities for the 2013-14, and 2014-15 financial years via the RSG.  As of 2015/16, Free School Breakfasts funding through the RSG has been absorbed into the wider funding formula – it is therefore no longer possible to accurately identify the amount of funding allocated specifically for the delivery of Free School Breakfasts
