Offer Trydanol i Hyfforddi Cŵn
Mae Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru yn condemnio gwerthu a defnyddio offer trydanol i hyfforddi a rheoli cŵn, ac eithrio ffensys trydan da byw, sy’n gweithredu ar egwyddor wahanol; yn deall bod dulliau hyfforddi cadarnhaol amgen yn cynhyrchu cŵn a hyfforddir yn gyflym ac yn ddibynadwy heb botensial creulondeb; yn cydnabod, oherwydd bod gan gŵn berthynas mor glòs â phobl, bod modd defnyddio eu greddf naturiol i’w hyfforddi’n rhwydd; ac yn credu y dylai’r Gweinidog dros Faterion Gwledig gyhoeddi ymgynghoriad llawn ar y pwnc ar y cyfle cyntaf.
Electric Dog Training Devices
The National Assembly for Wales condemns the sale and use of electric training devicesto train and control dogs, with the exception of electric livestock fences which operate on a different priciple; understands that alternative positive training methods produce dogs which are trained quickly and reliably with no potential for cruelty; recognises that, because dogs have a strong bond with humans, their natural instincts can be utilised to train them easily and believes that Minister for Rural Affairs should issue a full consultation on the subject at the earliest possible opportunity.
