Mae Plant Anabl yn Bwysig

Mae’r Cynulliad hwn yn nodi’r dystiolaeth o Adroddiad SAAT y Fframwaith Gwasanaeth Cenedlaethol i Blant 06/07, sy’n dangos mai gwasanaethau ar gyfer plant anabl a’u teuluoedd yw’r maes darparu gwasanaethau gwanaf yn gyson ledled Cymru.

Mae’r Cynulliad hwn felly’n galw ar Lywodraeth Cynulliad Cymru i warantu bod y £21m canlyniadol o "Aiming High for Disabled Children: Better Support for Families" wedi’i neilltuo i gefnogi plant anabl a’u teuluoedd yng Nghymru.

Disabled Children Matter

This Assembly notes the evidence from the Children's NSF SAAT Report 06/07, showing that services for disabled children and their families are consistently the weakest area of service delivery across Wales.

This Assembly therefore calls on the Welsh Assembly Government to guarantee that the £21m consequential from "Aiming High for Disabled Children: Better Support for Families" is ringfenced to support disabled children and their families in Wales

Mae Plant Anabl yn Bwysig/Disabled Children Matter

This Assembly notes the evidence from the Children's NSF SAAT Report 06/07, showing that services for disabled children and their families are consistently the weakest area of service delivery across Wales.

This Assembly therefore calls on the Welsh Assembly Government to reaffirm its commitment to fully implementing and funding both the NSF and the recommendations of the Equality of Opportunity committee report on services for young disabled people and to ringfence funding and make it clearly traceable through the Assembly government budget.
