1. Notes the content of the UK Government’s legislative programme for the period November 2007 to November 2008;

2. Notes that the following proposed Bills are of particular relevance to the Assembly’s responsibilities:

The following amendments were tabled:

"Notes with regret the exclusion of a Bill to establish St David's Day as a National holiday in Wales.”

"Notes with regret the exclusion of a Bill to devolve building regulations to the National Assembly for Wales.”

Amendment 3 - William Graham (South Wales East):

Add as new point at end of Motion:

"Notes with regret the exclusion of a Bill to fully recognise, within the education system, the value of vocational education and skills development for 16-19 year olds.”

Item 6: Motion to approve the Assembly Commission's Budget


NDM3825 William Graham (South Wales East)


To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 27.9:

Agrees:

1. The budget of the Assembly Commission for 2008/9, as specified in Table 1 of the "National Assembly for Wales Commission Budget Proposals 2008/9”, laid before the Assembly on 21 November 2007;

2. That the budget be incorporated in the annual budget motion under Standing Order 27.17(ii).


The Motion was agreed, in accordance with Standing Order 7.35.
